Travel that feels less like logistics and more like memory-making.

Wanderlings was born from a simple belief: family travel should feel less like managing logistics and more like making memories.

We know this because we are a travelling family ourselves.

Between us, we’ve navigated jet lag, missed naps, overstimulated children, overpacked suitcases, rainy-day meltdowns, magical discoveries, and those unforgettable moments when a child sees something for the very first time and the entire journey suddenly becomes worth it.

Wanderlings is hosted by Kanika, Deb and their daughter Trikaya. We don’t see ourselves as tour operators. We see ourselves as travelling companions. Families don’t join a Wanderlings trip because they want someone to book hotels. They join because they want experienced parents to have already thought about the things that matter.

Which hotel room works best with young children? How much walking is too much? When should we schedule downtime? Where can parents enjoy a glass of wine while children are happily occupied? How do we make sure every day feels exciting without becoming exhausting?

Every Wanderlings itinerary is designed around one principle: no unpleasant surprises.

We carefully curate hotels, transfers, meals, attractions and daily schedules so families know exactly what to expect. We deliberately leave room to breathe. There are no frantic dawn wake-ups, no endless coach rides, no pressure to “cover” a city. Instead, there is time to wander, explore and enjoy.

For children, every trip becomes an adventure. Each Wanderling receives a travel journal and earns collectible badges throughout the journey. Some badges are awarded for spotting animals. Others for trying new foods, discovering local legends, completing treasure hunts or simply showing kindness to fellow travellers. The badges transform travel into a game and help children engage deeply with the places they visit.

But Wanderlings is designed for parents too. One of the realities of travelling with children is that parents often return more tired than when they left. We want to change that.

Whenever possible, we arrange trusted childcare support and professional nannies so parents can occasionally enjoy something many family holidays forget to provide: time together. Perhaps it’s a quiet dinner. Perhaps it’s an afternoon museum visit. Perhaps it’s simply a coffee enjoyed without interruption.

These moments matter. We believe a great family holiday strengthens not only the bond between parents and children, but also the bond between partners.

Children need adventure. Parents need breathing room. A Wanderlings journey is designed to offer both.

Before every trip, families receive carefully curated recommendations, destination stories and age-appropriate films and books that help children build excitement before they even leave home. By the time they arrive, they already feel connected to the destination. The holiday has already begun.

Our goal is not to move families through destinations. Our goal is to help families create stories they will tell for the rest of their lives.

Slowly. Thoughtfully. Together.

Because the best family holidays are not measured in kilometres travelled. They’re measured in memories made.
